    Hi all,

Suddenly there are no projects available for lending, and there is nothing mentioned about it on the blog or in any press statement. This makes me wonder: Are Zidisha having problems? Are you planning to shut down? Should I withdraw my money as soon as possible?

Hi Daniel, I'm VM for Indonesia, from the list member that I'm assign to, some of the new member haven't apply new loan. 5 or more of mentee's loan are already funded because much of them choose to applied the smallest loan $10, without paying MLF , and from the browse project, I saw that a lot of first timer borrower looks like to choose the smallest of the loan. maybe @Laurie , the director @Julia Kurnia can help to answer daniel's question.

No, there are no plans that I know of for Zidisha shutting down. In fact, Zidisha just recently hired a new programmer to help upgrade the platform to better handle (with fewer and less frequent technical bugs in the future, as soon as possible) the high volume of borrowers and lenders that Zidisha has so rapidly attracted in a relatively short amount of time. I think what Fitri mentioned probably is the reason why you've been noticing what you just said. I've seen the number of loans available for funding change from dozens to none at all in just a matter of hours, sometimes, lately. That's because with such small loan requests, those often get funded extremely rapidly, sometimes by just one lender.

This is something very new, the ability for first-time loan applicants to apply for such a small amount. Previously, I think the smallest amount was about $50. In any event, it was not nearly as small as only $10.

For anyone who doesn't yet understand about the Members Loan Fund (MLF) deposit, here's some information about that:

Hmm. I hear you. I don't make the rules, though. ;)

Btw, @Alexandre Généreux, does the profile picture at that link look really blurry to you, too? Or is there something maybe wrong with my computer? The reason I ask is that not all profile photos on the Zidisha website are appearing blurry to me, but a whole heck of a lot more of those are these days (all of a sudden!) than ever before in the past. I don't want to send anymore feedback about profile photos to borrowers if it's actually a problem with my computer (maybe not being able to see certain photos under certain resolution clearly anymore, idk). One guy I did send feedback to didn't seem to know what I was talking about, so that's another reason I'm asking... and am holding off on commenting on any others until I find out for sure.

I had some difficult times, but I am grateful for Zidisha. I want to repay my loan on time and go further.
