Adjustment to loan write-off policy

    Ah ok thanks ;) really don't want borrowers seeing a big "no need to bother" sign....

    Just checked one of mine

    alkassoum irrichid

    18% Repaid,
    82% Written Off

    It's still coming up on the main profile page as far as I can see.. Unless I'm being really dense...
    @Julia can we just have "percentage repaid" ? Ta

    @Evelyn @Hope2012, thanks for letting us know. The write-off text had inadvertently been reintroduced into the loan profile status bar. We have just removed it again.

    Hope2012, to answer your question, borrowers see the same loan profile page as lenders, except the amounts are displayed in local currency. So no further write-off designation ought to display to them.

    My understanding is that the loan forgiveness option is now presented to lenders in circumstances deemed exceptional by senior staff, but is no longer an "automatic" option for lenders.
